Business ownership is a tradition in the lineage of Legacy Builder Group LLC’s owners, Mark Mollon and Marcella Mollon-William, from great-grandparents to kids. As siblings with an entrepreneurial lineage, Mark Mollon and Marcella Mollon-William represent the fourth generation of their family’s business endeavors, having launched their financial advisory and wealth management business 16 years ago.

Mollon and Mollon-William are the offspring of immigrant parents from Trinidad and Tobago who immigrated to America and diligently pursued the American Dream for their family.

From a young age, Mollon and Mollon-Williams began working in their parents’ graphic design and sign company, gaining invaluable insights into entrepreneurship, leadership, and managing a family enterprise. Drawing from these early experiences, the siblings were driven to expand their financial expertise, receiving education in retirement planning, asset protection, legacy planning, and behavioral economics. They adhere to a philosophy of lifelong learning, considering themselves “forever students.”

Mollon and Mollon-Williams are dedicated to empowering families to establish a lasting legacy of financial freedom for future generations, embodying a mission-driven approach to their work.

“A legacy is something passed down or received from an ancestor or predecessor. It is about more than money; it is about creating your American Dream, says Mollon and Mollon-Willliams. “Creating a family legacy to pass down to the next generation is a responsibility that we all bear. In fact, accepting responsibility for self, family, and community is at the heart of sustained financial health.”

In pursuit of their mission to empower families with financial freedom and ensure a secure future for younger generations, Mollon and Mollon-Williams established Legacy Builder Group LLC in 2008. This full-service financial education firm specializes in assisting individuals in crafting robust retirement strategies and making rational decisions amidst challenging and competing emotions. They provide personalized, hands-on service, guiding clients through financial concepts and products while demystifying investing, insurance, estate conservation, and wealth preservation.

“We understand the many challenges of retirement today and know the biggest concern for many is outliving their money. We focus on helping our clients manage their emotions and their decision-making around money management, as well as other issues that are critical to your financial well-being.”

Today, Legacy Builder Group takes pride in its team of outstanding financial professionals who value education, integrity, and treating every client and their families as their own.

To onboard clients into their financial guidance system, they devised a four-stage process plan called “The Purpose Plan: Creating Wealth with Purpose.

1. Meet and Greet: Establishing financial groundwork marks the inception of crafting a client’s Purpose Plan. During this phase, clients engage with one of the coaches to assess mutual compatibility and determine if their collaboration aligns with the client’s financial objectives

“If it feels like a good fit, we will partner together to reach your financial goals. We implement a comprehensive, process-driven approach to retirement planning. We guide our clients down the path to a better financial strategy with an analysis of goals and needs.”

2. Discovery Interview: The team offers tailored coaching tailored to each client’s circumstances.

“In our Discovery Interview, we will gather data to identify your current financial situation and examine your philosophy, attitude, and behavior in handling your money. We will help you prioritize where your money should be going.”

3. Feasibility Study: The team deploys the Lifetime Analyzer software to gain a comprehensive understanding of a client’s present circumstances. Through this analysis, clients receive a suite of reports, including the Social Security Timing Report, Tax Clarity Report, Portfolio Diagnostic Report, Portfolio Cost Analysis Report, and Lifetime Analyzer.

“In our Feasibility Study, we will see which recommendations make sense and implement our agreed-upon strategies. Once we input your data into the Lifetime Analyzer software, we get a 360° view of your current situation.”

This process illuminates a client’s existing situation and offers insights into potential future scenarios. “We can then make adjustments to lead you toward your financial goals. In the asset optimizer phase, we bring all your non-qualified assets together to create a tax efficient plan for your future.”

4. Financial Strategy: This encompasses the development of a comprehensive written plan of action tailored to create a personalized financial strategy, complemented by yearly notifications for annual reviews.

“The objective is to keep your plan on-track and in alignment with your goals. Remember, your financial strategy is a movie and not a snapshot. It is always changing. Therefore, we are committed to your long-term success and want you to create a life that you love.”

The Family Legacy Experience

In a bid to broaden their reach, Mollon and Mollon-Williams have introduced “The Family Legacy Experience,” a 12-month online program that provides families with extensive coaching on money behavior, multi-generational wealth-building strategies, and estate planning principles.

“The Family Legacy Experience is our way of sharing our family experience with the world and supporting you on your legacy building journey,” says Mollon. “This experience is about FAR MORE than money and finances. We created a blueprint FOR YOU to design the life and legacy you truly desire for yourself and your family. In this 12-month Elite Coaching Membership, you will experience a community curated to access us and support you.”

The Family Legacy Experience establishes a purpose-driven ecosystem for individuals dedicated to making a profound impact on their families and communities. Through tailored coaching experiences in one-on-one sessions, small group settings, and mastermind groups, participants receive optimal support and guidance to shape the legacy they envision.

“Your environment matters so we wanted to create a purposeful “ecosystem” for people, like us, who are committed to building a legacy and impacting their families and communities in a powerful way. Financial empowerment must come from the inside out, not the outside in,” says Mollon.

This program is structured to delve into participants’ purpose and enhance their capacity to lead their family legacy. Across a series of modules, participants delve into diverse aspects of legacy planning, including family behavior coaching, communication, and crest development, family foundation establishment, and preparation for legacy estate planning.
