One-year-old Ghanaian boy recognized as youngest male artist by Guinness World Records

One-year-old Ace Liam has been awarded the record for youngest male artist by the Guinness World Records. The Ghanaian child attempted the remarkable feat in Accra between January 18 and January 20, 2024. His mother, Chantelle Eghan announced his impressive achievement at a press conference where she read excerpts of the email she received from the Guinness World Records.

“We are overjoyed to announce that Ace Liam, at just one year old and 152 days, has been officially confirmed by Guinness World Records as the current record holder as the youngest male artist,” Ace Liam’s mother declared.

Ace Liam set the world record at one year and 152 days old. He broke the record of Dante Lamb, an American who set it in 2003 at the age of three. Since 1955, Guinness World Records has annually published a list of world records, both of human achievements and the extremes of the natural world. It is published in 100 countries and 23 languages and maintains over 53,000 records in its database. The franchise is the primary international source for cataloging and verification of several world records.

At just six months, Ace Liam picked up a paintbrush and began painting. He has been expressing himself on canvas ever since and impressing global audiences with his outstanding artistic expressions. Ace Liam possibly takes after his mother who is also an artist. Her son’s record-breaking journey began five months ago when she submitted evidence of his artistic talent to the Guinness World Records. 

“The journey may have started with the innocence of a one-year-old, but it has evolved into a symbol of inspiration and possibility,” said his mother.

Ace Liam’s historic accomplishment highlights the importance of nurturing, providing resources, and guiding young talent. Children are not only able to develop their skills but also given the confidence needed to succeed in the future. Ace Liam is already engaged in collaborations and partnerships and is open to new ventures.

He is an excellent addition to Ghana’s growing list of record-breaking talents. Recently, 29-year-old Abubakar Tahiru claimed the title for the most trees hugged in an hour.
