The pandemic unequivocally changed how we work. It shook up the traditional workplace setup and ushered in the remote work era.

According to the Pew Research Center, approximately 22 million employed adults in the U.S. work from home all the time. Remote work offers employees better work-life balance, greater flexibility, and more freedom and autonomy, among other benefits.

With a study projecting that 22% of the American workforce will be remote by 2025, the future of work is remote.

Notwithstanding the perks of remote work, employees have to contend with a decrease in earnings. A USA Today study revealed that the percentage of people in each income group who were fully remote decreased as earnings increased.

While 42% of those earning under $50,000 per year were fully remote, only 18% of those earning between $125,000 and $200,000 per year were fully remote. A further study shows that 42% of office workers would take a 10% pay cut to have the flexibility to work remotely. But what if employees did not have to compromise on their salaries to work remotely?
